Bernardi, Framingham:

This was an extensive project. We started by removing multiple years of leaves and timber in the surrounding woods. Next, we thinned out saplings and allowed the ground cover (mostly fern) to re-emerge. Our efforts opened up the woods and also rid the owners of virtually all of their mosquito problems. All beds were defined and planned with well over 300 plantings. In addition, we transplanted and pruned trees, shrubs and moved old bulbs to create a more balanced and flowing property. 300 daffodil bulbs were added in the front near the road and a large wildflower field created on the side of the property (pictures to follow this year). The results were spectacular and worth the effort for the wedding event that took place soon after completion.
